Default Heater Box Assembly 'thing-y'.

My project today was replacing the heater hose's and heater core. In the process I was touching up (painting) the plenum and front attachment to the heater box assembly. Whatever that red thing is, one of the metal thing-y's snapped off and now I have to replace that red thing. UGH! Two different female connectore plug into it. Any idea what it is and called? I can't find a replacementpieceand a new heater box assembly is $200.00. Thanks.

That's a resister of the fan motor, you can get them from any of the Mustang suppliers. You might even be able to get them at autozone or a local parts supplier.

Depending on the year, pre 68' they are under $15, but for some reason the 68' model is almost $50, not really sure what the difference is.
