I started looking for a project car: 55 chevy post, 64 malibu, 69 and 68 Camaro's, all of them stupidly overpriced. I actually stumbled across my current 66 coupe by accident. It was asolid body and motor for the right price from the original owner. It needs work and some TLC, but I'm very happy with what I bought. I'm at the age where it's not my primary car, and I chose a coupe 2V so I can do anything I want to it. I enjoy just going out and turning the wrench.Example, 3 mos to buildthe tranny, but it's a roller bearing, rigid band, modif'd pump, C-servo monster, waiting for a 331 stroker, meanwhile I'll enjoy the 289 that's in it.

What else i looked at? Anything cheap and fast/ or could be made fast, i wasnt looking for a ford, or a dodge, or one of those chevys, i just ended up finding it and im damn happy with my mustang! but really, i would take anything that was "fun" -Jon
