I've always wanted to find my dad's old 67 fastback. He sold it shortly afterI was born. 4 miles to the gallon just wasn't a baby toter. There are only two pics of it and I dunno if either show the plate. Hmmm. It shall be a difficult task. I do have a neighbor who is a cop that would look up the plate. Anyone know how long they keep those on record?

Even if he tried to get that info from his insurance would they even give it to him? Have you tried starting your search with the last guy your father sold it to then going from there?

i tried finding my dads 73 mach 1 351C 4V. 4miles to the gallong too, with methanol injectors (i found out the other day he didnt have NOS, he had methanol injectors)

i searched for hours, even had someone run the vin in every state, nothing, i fear it will never be seen again, so i need to find a 73 that me and him can build back to his former 73 mach.

My hopes are to maybe find info from his old insurance company, or possibly talk to his parents they kept all sorts of worthless papers. I'd love to find it and buy it for him someday ..if its still around and not a complete basket case..Hey you never know the POD club may get a new member someday...Lord knows my car is already close.
