The 71 will get a body color front end, including the bumper with a Mach1 grille. The rear bumper will be chrome, otherwise it just looks heavy with too much color. Loses some shape if nothing is back there to reveal the contours. Cars with big flat panels are like that. the front has character and lines all over, so it can be more solid, but not the rear..

yeah let me pull it from under the house pm me in a few days to make sure noone has thrown it away[:'(] my uncle is know to clean up my junk sometimes[:@] like a 8.8 rear i was saving and a few other odds and ends

Yeah my family has done that to me too. Like an NOS carpet for my 70 GTO, brother gutted a deer on it, then burned it. Only $700 for one of them.. Same brothers oldest kid decided to go on a rampage with his bb gun one afternoon at the farm.. Lucky for him I only lost one window in a car I plan to gut for a drag car. Oldest brother is also the one who dented up the hood and smashed the front valence on the Cougar, and robbed the alternator, PS pump, blower motor, fan and housing, and cut the wires while doing it. Thats after he cracked a 4V Cleveland head and crank, slipped the timing chain and bent a bunch of valves in my 72 coupe by cuttin doughnuts in the field behind the house, leaving the front end burried in the freshly tilled dirt up to the hood.

his life sucks pretty bad now, so karma is having its way with him.

my dad keeps saying he is going to sell that 71, but nothing gets done, i think he is saying that so i can hurry up and get my car in running order to drive daily, so he can put his 71 back in the garage and me and him can work on it

i would go with the painted hood and fender moldings but i like the chrome front and rear bumpers. either way it will look good!
