Here is a side photo of the engine -

Interior restoration to begin right away... I'll post some exterior shots (the paint is a 7 on a 10 scale). Since it will be a frequent driver, I decided to put my money in the engine and interior. This will be no garage queen!

Soaring - fortunately almost all of the "shiny ****" does make the car go faster. Much faster.

I'm flattered that you love its looks!

well if you want my opinion, im not a huge chrome fan, i wouldve gone with satin finish, but neverthe less youd spank me in a race, so it works however, my only real dislike is the red/black valve covers with the blue block, maybe a red block (maybe too chevy for you i dunno if you care or not) and it would be lookin mean! great ride anyway man, tell the shop dudes they doin a great job!

You are obviously completely out of my league. You are a restomod nut, and I am a leave it as an original man. I know virtually nothing about how to hook up a paxton super charger, and really don't want to know. I hope you enjoy your restomod.

I like it..I'm doing the same thing right now with a Vortec V1 S Trim on a 351. I like the intake. What type carb are you using?

Glad to see, as I had suspected, the front accessories have hidden that bright blue block rather well. I'm not crazy about chromed out look of the thing, but it is going to be a wicked power ride nonetheless.

I had reservations about the red and black covers with the blue motor too, not anymore. That is a beautiful engine, no doubt about it. I love the chrome, colors, wires, hoses, well I love it all. Nice job. It isn't an original rebuild persay, but it is one of the most original configurations I have seen. Sweet!

Intreestingly, there is almost very littlechrome left in the engine. It is all stainless steel or polished aluminum. The radiator and shroud will be a significant visual addition. I am very curious as to how it turns out. I'll post pictures of the final setup in a few days or so.

Thanks for you nice comments - yes, I've used much of my saving to swing this but more important I really wanted to end up with somehtiong special - not cheesy!

I will relay all you feedback to the Mustang shop here in LA. The have been around a long, long time and have never done anything quite like this.
