Installing a new Lokar throttle cable and need a new pedal as my pedal accepts only a rod type throttle connection. Has anyone converted? What did you use? Thanks

just did that exact install today. I have a 69, and i used the stock pedal. I was able just to slip the end of the cable onto the pedal, and push the pin through the cable end and pedal.

thanks guys, so is it just the pedal or do I need some sort of assembly with the pedal?

The pedal assembly consists of the rubber pedal, firewall attach bracket, and an arm that goes from the rubber pedal through the pivot bracket and goes up the inside of the firewall. It has a hole in the end that the cable attaches to.
