Definitely has the '66 side chrome accents, and bright rocker panel covers and chrome hood lip (standard on '66 non-GT coupes). Unless they have been removed prior to painting, the absence of front fender emblems indicates an I-6.

always stroke my as a thing that is specific to '66. never seen that on a 65 ...?!
(i know don't mess with the wrath of soaring)

anyways ... what does VIN and doorplate say ?

guessing at the hubcaps i would say 65 but the quaters scream 66 and the grill seems 66

Yea, he had 65 hubcaps on it. I have the originals but I am still trying to get all the parts together. The color is not an original color I dont think. It is pretty close to the factory though. It has a gold undercoat so in the light it looks kind of bronzey green. I love it! The first order of business is to pay it off, then gather up some original parts and get to work.

Looks like a great starting place if there is a question about the year youcould run a vin check and that would solve this. I agree it is an exorcist green, I will stick with my cruddy tan.... for now...
The body seems to be in fine condition, run across any problems yet? Is there rebuilding that needs to be done?
