Default quick help

ok, the floorpans i got from mustangs plus are black, like the metal is black, should i tak the black off on the edge to weld in? i dont remember, i think shifty asked about this before, will it give me a sloppy weld if i dont?

Yes you need to grind off the coating where you intend on doing the weld.

i tried sandpaper, then i realized its too fine, so i just have a wirewheel and that seems to work fine, just takes a little while
