Is the 302 small block engine worth having in a '68 mustang? Can you get alot of horsepower from this engine or should i swap beforedumping money on boost or juice?

Boost or juice do you drive a ricer?

A properly built 302 will work just fine you can rebuild itor stroke it to 347 ect... you can make anywhere bewtween 300 and 400 ish hp with these motors

lol i used to have a ricer, but then i grew up.
300 to 400 hp doesnt sound impressive, im looking to find out if its a good base engine to modify

well im going into the navy in 4 months and im going to be gettin cash while im serving.... i wanted to dump money in the engine while im inA schoolingand hopefully have a street car that made me wet myself for lack of a better term. 300 to 400 horsepower cant reli do that can it?

seems like afr heads and a new cam is the way to go... but at that point im at only about 350-400 horsepower for about $2000... for that much money shouldnt i just start with a crate motor and work thata way?

pick up a 96-97 5.0 explorer motor(500$) add a e cam from ford racing ull be at 300hp then get u a nice super charger for about 500+

a 5.0 would b a 302.... wouldnt it? and 500+ sounds great.... but forced induction needs new pistons and rods and crank and shtuff that i dont feel like buying.....
