how many of those engines were produced?
Not many I thought.

The boat looks like a "fuel injected suicide machine" (anyone here remember Mad Max 1???)

How cool is the exhaust???
You could drop that sucker in a stang, swap the exhaust from one side to the other and have those pipes sitting right under your chair. Scare crap out of yourself without even driving it!!!

That reminds me of this one boat I filled with gas once. Speedo went from 20mpg to 80 then to 200. Just 3 marks. Man I drooled and the guy only got 2 gallons worth of fuel. He said that'd last a good 5 minutes if that.

the 427 cammer is worth anywhere between 18000-30000 dependin on condition. and yea i think there were over 2000 of them produced from 65-68. most of which went to the drag racing world. but they were also avaialable as an over the counter option in a ford vehicle like the fairlane and galaxie, and also the mercury comet.

i would love to have one of them and put it in my fox. hello mid 9's with a stock motor, revving to over 7000 rpms. but that will be years down the line.
