Clutch question

Clutch question
I just removed the motor/trans from my wife's '65 convertible. I noticed it has a "long" style clutch(I think) with the 3 fingers and it used coil springs instead of the diaphram type. The question is: is this style require more or less effort to push in the clutch. This car will be for my wife mainly, and I don't want it to be hard to drive. I have only ever owned diaphram clutches.

RE: Clutch question
Sorry, should have specified, this is a restoration. Not exactly a concours job but I want it to look correct and have all the factory stuff, so no hydraulics. Believe me, if this wasn't a resto, it would probably be a late mustang 5.0 with a T5.

RE: Clutch question
Yes. It is the stock "Three finger type". That's what was used years ago. You can get a diaphram type for it(most vendors sell them). The original style does need a bit more "exertion" on it to engage.
