Oil coming from exhaust manifold bolt hole

Oil coming from exhaust manifold bolt hole
Ok - took off my stock exhaust system today...
When I took off the passenger side exhaust manifold there was a little bit of oil that was coming out the rear hole on the second exhaust port back from the front of the engine. (That would be the 4th bolt hole back from the front.)
What's the story morning glory??? Is this something funky likea mopar where some of your head bolts penetrate into the water jacket?

RE: Oil coming from exhaust manifold bolt hole
I have a couple sets of heads in my garage, just took a look at them. It is my opinion that the oil that came out must have been trapped when the engine (manifold) was assembled.
I checked a set of aluminum cyl heads and a set of 70stock heads, both from a 351 W. All holes were "blind holes", less than 1" deep, that did not open into anything. Some of the holes did line up with head bolts, but they were quite a way (I would sayway morethan 2") from the exhaust manifold mounting surface. This is the only possible place I can think of where oil could possibly get into the bolt hole, as I believe the bosses to be largely surrounded by waer jackets, but that is a long, long, way, I just can't see it.

Ok - thanks! I'll get in there sometime this week and put a high power flashlight and a mirror down by it and see if I can see anything inside that would worry me.
