Default Loose AT linkage

Hi !

My '69 convertible won't start unless I hold the AT selector lever real tight on "park" or in neutral. Any idea on what I specifically need to tighten so there will be no play in the handle and the starting will be normal?
Thanks

Default RE: Loose AT linkage

Autos come with a lock out switch to prevent starting while in gear. I think it is near the shift lever close to the tranny, but not real sure...
