so i have a thermal choke but why do i still have a choke handle inside the car, it doesn't connect to the carb, where does it connect?

I saw Soarings name and though he was back!
Nice digging, how old is it? 16 months?
Anyway, your car has probably have either had a replacement carby, or an aftermarket choke cable installed. Just look at where it comes through the firewall, and see where it goes.

One other thing, your not mixing it up with the ventilation lever are you, it looks just like a choke lever.

whatever happened to soaring anyway i used to like to read his posts. my lever says choke on it but what is a ventilation lever?

Soaring had a difference of opinion and left.

The ventilation lever is the thing that looks like a choke lever, but opens/closes the fresh air duct under the dash.
