It is any way that a 66 temperature gauge can be bench tested? thak you

they are electric right? should be some way to check it with a voltmeter or something i image. would a chiltons have this info?

get a 6v battery and conect it to it if it moves the gauge is good but it could be out of calibration

shouldnt a chilton or hayes book say what voltage it should be at to be all the way on one end or the other? gotta be a baseline voltage to verify against

its techinically five volts but a 6v battery is easier to come by but after you know its good you can then tune it properly
