Default sheeeet metal

Has anyone here ordered any sheetmetal from Laurel Mountain Mustang before? I just ordered complete rockers and torque boxes for my 65 vert from there, was wondering about quality........probably should have asked first.

I have heard nothing but good news from guys buying from Laurel. Let us know the quality when you get it. I imagine most of the sheet metal stuff is made in China at the same factory in Beijing, so maybe not.

They advertise their parts as "Made in the Americas!".

a.k.a., Mexico. Better than China though

You ever been to Mexico? I have been to Mexico and to China. I would rather the part be made in China.

I have bought from Laurel and CJ, both good quality and made in Canada or the US.

I cant vouche for China though, but they have had a notorious history of shoty metalwork.

Japan is cool, I like them disspite their wacky car ideas. And they make quality materials now. KYB's are made in Japan if I remember correctly..
