today i had a customer come into my shop and he has a 67 coupe that is in pretty good shape.... he needs a rt fender, headlamp bucket, frnt bumper assy, hood, grille and lwr valance. im wondering if you guys have had any any luck with good fitting part (meaning not having to slot all holes on the panels to get them to fit ) and good quality metal. This is a insurance job and i was thinking about going to cj pony parts, npd, or year one for most of the parts. any input would be appreciated.

CJ's lists fenders made from the Ford tooling. I've got cheepies on my 67and they needed some tweaking. The valence is pretty easy fit. I don't know about repop hoods or headlight buckets but I've seen decnt original parts like that on ebay.

im lucky only sheet metal i replaced was my valance with a fiberglass one. tarafield is right the ford tooling ones cost more but fit alot better so less labor fiting them
