Boss 429 stuff is SO overpriced, and SOHC stuff has been that way for a long time. $3000 for a freakin air cleaner for a boss 9! No thanks, my $50 K&N open element does just fine.

Don't be hatin' just cause you can't play with the big dogs.
I don't play in that league either, but for those that can and do, more power to them.

Yeah, I agree. We poor fuggers on here are lucky to afford a tank of gas now days. It's pretty obvious that there is definitely a class division in America that didn't used to be there. There are those who have so much money they can't count it all, then there are us who live from paycheck to paycheck. What happened to the middle class?

. What happened to the middle class?

95% of the people in this country don't know how good they have it. They spend their days struggling to leap over mouse turds and whine about a dollar while many places in the world are living in squalor and fear.

Figure out how they made their money and do your best to emulate them, within the laws of God and man of course.

Hey Fastback, chill out, relax, I don't hate enybody, if you take the time to read and look at my postyou will notice the smiling faceslike this!!! I thought it was something different to see the prices that they ask for some of the classic parts, get out of your big horse and stop given people lectures about 95% of the population and how much or how little they appreciate this country..I don't know if you realize that this is "the classic Mustang forum" not a preaching forum.
PS: since probably you are having a bad hair evening and is likely that you will respond with a another scriptural dissertation, please don't waist your time I am not planing to read this any more

I'm helping a friend locate parts for an early GT350 that he is in charge of restoring for someone that can buy - anything. When asked tofind something, I always ask for an upper price. Sometimes I get one. I bring to mind the 427 Cobra that sold for $5.5 million (no connection, just reference). Sorry to tell you this, but we are in a very minor league.
