What we did is-
-Removed interrior- (including wiring harness, gauges, all switches, ash tray etc.)
-sanded down interrior with 36 grit paper followed by 220 or 400 grit.
- wiped down interrior with nason thinner to remove imperfections and surface dust.
- mixed primar to specifications (Nason primar Dupot equivalent)- I will find the can tomorrow
- Sprayed 2 coats of the primar
- sand primar with400 grit and then touched up troublesome areas with a scuff pad ( the maroon Pads)
- Mixed paint to specifications
- Nason 2K urethane- full thane - single stage
- Added NAPA 87 Fish eye eliminator ( Eliminator is very important)
- Sprayed a heavy coat and let sit for about 20 min and then sprayed a second coat.
- I will post dry pictures tomorrow

The color is cool. Is that the sunset orange color I see on a few of these mustangs on this site? You should hang anything shot off the car. You'll see why when you have to peel the door off the cardboard.

Nason - Dupont Mixed pro Grade
766932IB
Sunset Orange- effect
Code N8

I know it should be hung but only one side is shot i will shoot the outside of the doors when i shoot the car and the doors will be on the car. I have not had to peel them yet so i think i am ok.

You used thinner to wipe everything down before paint? I always heard that was a No! No!

the thinner that is used in the paint ,not normal laquer thinner. It works really well to clean it off and as long as you let it dry i don't see a problem with it.
