there is a guy who makes 5 lug hubs for the I6 spindles overseas but i cant remember the site for the life of me right now

I would def run the vin and/or buck tag. I wouldn't trust the 6'er spindles farther than I could throw them. They couldn't hold brakes that were adiquite enough for the 6'er, let alone a 5 lug disc/drum.

Since you already have the Grenada spindles, just go ahead and do the swap. Figure out the other spindles after they are out and sell 'em for a buck on eBay.

my 68 was a inline 6 from the factory when i got it had a 302 2 barrel c4 v8 spindles and a ford 8 inch. we are dealing with a 40 year old car so who knows whats been done to it over the years. see if the spindle or hub have any numbers stamped in to help id them
