Default WHAT IS IT WORTH

Okay everyone,
This ismy latest project restoration, everything has been replaced on this car down to the last bolt to make this car look the way it does. It has a 390-ci engine with power disc brakes all the way around. I have added nothing to the motor than the factory equipment. I have everything on this car done right even to the rims with a 10-spoke style. The interior is all refinished with the same disign but with different color code. The reason I am posting this car is cause I am thinking about selling it. I want your opinion on what you think I should start it out at. I was thinking around $26,000. The motor has only 3400 miles on it since installed. It was totally rebuilt with all new parts. I went with power disc brakes from a 1987 mustang 5.0 for better braking abilty. There is not on flaw on this car, nor bondo.

Scroll down a few comments and I have posted pics of the motor.

After all that work and you are going to sell it? I haven't the slightest idea what it is worth. 26 grand sounds high to me, but I may be way off. Try advertising it on Ebay and set your minimum to 26K and see if you get it sold.

I am not sure what the price would be, but there are many many many 69 mach 1s in decent shape (no where near what your car is) that sell for around $20K. What tranny is in the car? Does the engine type, transmission type, and color match the data codes? If so, I wouldguess $30K plus, but I do not follow the earlier mustang prices very closely.

If you live near a barret jackson you can get a quote from them. Your car seems like the type of car that would go on barret.

Outside looks great!
can you post some pics of interior and engine bay?
+1 trans, rear end info please - does it still have an 8" or did you swap it out?
What mods did you have to make to fit the 390?
What exhaust?
how did you mount those driving/fog lights?
what size are the wheels and tyres?

you are going to have to give everyone here the full picture before you are allowed to sell it

Okay in answer to your questions. It has the 4- speed manual Dagenham (Ford heavy duty) Borg Warner T-10. The rear end is a 9" with 3.50:1 ratio. The Exhaust is flowmaster with long headers. There isn't any mods to get this motor to fit I pulled it out of a GT-350 that is beyond being able to be restored. It installs the same . All the components of the motor are original style but OEM concours correct parts. I spent about 1200 hours building this car. Though the numbers on the motor don't match it was built as a GT-350. The interior is all original nothing has been changed not even a cd player it is all factory looking. It was just all done in black instead of the factory white. any other questions feel free to ask. Oh and the wheels are 17X8 in the Shelby 10 -spoke style. I will post some pictures of the interior and the motor when I get back to the shop.

the paint looks REALLY nice to me, and thats a big deal to some people. 26 sounds about right for a fastback in good shape, you might get more, maybe less. id do what soaring said and ebay it or craigslist it for 26g reserve.

If the motor fit in with no modifications, it's NOT a 390 FE.

That's a great looking car! I would say that $26k sounds like a good starting place but you might be able to get $30k for it. Good luck!

Engine mounts where the only thing I changed out, other than that it was built as a gt-350 it has the stronger radator and thats about it. The front clip is different than a 1967 it came off a fox body mustang. So thats way it went in with out any mods. In reply to (69FECoupe) I was looking on ebay and these cars are selling for 13,000 in juckyard condition. I think I will start mine out around 36,000 and see where it goes.
