My idea ? A full blown tube chassis with altered wheelbase , stretched front fenders, straight axle , Thunderbolt style hood, Torq-Thrusts etc ... Make it look like an old AFX car . THAT would be a cool ride as long as you weren't going road racing

Something like the old Gas Ronda or Don Nicholson cars.
That's exactly what I was gonna suggest! If you make the 03 Cobra motor look like the old 427 Cammer, that would be cool! I've seen some retro valve covers that the 4.6 a real Hemi look and you got the blower too. AFX is the way to go! hmmm... I'm getting ideas for my next project.

The "Cammer" look would be fairly easy with a 32 valve and I thinkI know what valve covers you are talking about. That would look very nice under there.A 4 or 5 inch stretch with a tube frame chassis would ease the install of aModular 4.6engine. Also thinking of chopping the top about 4" and lowering the angle of the windshield. Loosing the vent windows in lieu of a one piece window. No back seat as the seats will have to be laid back due to the lowered top. Cram that area with stereo equipment and speakers. Smooth head lights with an intergrated turn/park signal and a smoked plexy cover. A 6" cowl hood running almost the full lenth ending in a point about 14" back from the front (like the Thunderbolt except stretched).Maybesome polished aluminuminlets to contrast with the Black paint implanted in cowl of the hood. One off wheels, say 17's or 18's.Anyone good with Photoshop and a plasma cutter?
