Oh i did say big block 350. My bad.....<img border="0" src= smileys/smiley9.gif> What I meant was SMALL BLOCK 350. How much horsepower does the a stock 302 engine have??
I believe the 302's had 250 hp. The 302's in the Boss 302 mustangs had 2 versions. The street version was 290hp and the racing version had close to 450 hp

Nice use of the search function, most people dont use it. You could however start your own thread rather than pull this one from 6 years ago out of the depths of internet purgatory.
How much power you will have depends on what engine it is, the 351 Cleveland or the 302, and what condition that engine is in. Either way, if everything is stock and in ok shape, with the somewhat heavier Grande it wont be a drag car for sure. Figure around 200hp at the crank on a good day, maybe a bit more with the 351C.
If you want to start changing things, start a thread of your own, because the silly comment about dropping a chevy in a Mustang appears to be a troll attempt and you will be lost in the shuffle.
Try not to drag long dead threads up if you can help it, a link to them is much preferred.
