Default AOD oil type and capacity?

So I am just about ready to swap out my C-4 for an AOD transmission. I am just wondering what type of transmission does an AOD use? Is it the Decron-Mercon type III? I know the c-4 used type F but that was for older transmissions. Also what is the capacity for the transmission? Thanks!

Go ahead. I don't have the answer because I don't have an AOD. Just trying to help get the question answered since nobody else seems to have the answer.

Mercon III, don't use type F.
About 12 quarts.

That site sucks. I would not want to navigate it for the answer to a simple question.

Have a good night, Soaring......

Ok, so where is your site that answers the question at hand? I have tried to help, but all you are doing is bitching about how I am trying to help.
