Default Instument panel voltage regulator.

My gauges would climb with my lights on so I figured that my alternator needed to be replaced. I upgraded to a 95 amp internal regulator and removed the wiring mess from the old system. Now the gauges climb at low speed and worse with the lights on. Fuel goes up 1/8th, oil goes up to almost the high end of normal and the temp goes up to the high end of normal and sometimes to hot. Alt gauge has not worked as long as I have owned the car.

Would a new instrument panel regulator solve this problem? Where is the best place to get one?

Any other ideas?

Default RE: Instument panel voltage regulator.

Problem solved.

Bad body ground.

Head lights are brighter, gauges work and dash lights are brighter.
