66 289 project
Well first of all, I am really big into Audio, infact around x-mas instead of buying stuff for my friends I wasted 500 dollars on a system+speakers for my last car, yadda yadda, I am fixing up the 66 289 right now. Is it wise to put in a CD player Headunit? Or should I stick with the stock or should I do something else? Would a system be alright in the Mustang?
Also Engine wise, I had a valve job done around 5 years ago, the car has not been driven since, it has been sitting in my garage. I am going to get the exact milage when I return home(at class right now) Should I rebuild the Trans? The Carb? Radiator? What should I do first?
I have around 2,200 ATM which can go towards it.
Thanks for advice in advance.

I personally ahve thought about upping the sound system in my car, but considering the fact that the security devices on my car (uhh...the door) is very limited, i dont really plan on having my whole audio system jacked while im sleeping....

You can put 6x9s the back and get some kick panels with speakers. As for the radio, If you dash is cut, put in what you want. I wouldn't put 15" speakers in the back seat or anything like that. I would only spend about $400 to $500. People would go in and take anything you go in it. They don't care.
As for you motor, Change the oil and drive it close to the house and see want it needs. If something is not working right, then fix it.
