Dumb questions about seats...
Basically... how do they attach? I'm getting ready to tackle the floor pans in my car, and of course, I need to remove the seats. Where do I get at the bolts - beneth the frame or floor pans, or right under the seat itself?
Also, I assume the seats are mounted on rails. Are the rails themselves replacable? Mine are defiantely rusted to Hell, so if I can save the rest of the seat and attach new rails, I'd be thrilled.
Thanks.

RE: Dumb questions about seats...
on my pos 65 the seat studs went from the interior, through the seat rails and out to the undercarrage. there were access holes under the car in the seat pan, if you feel around you should feel and see the studs with the nuts on them. yours might have removable plugs covering the holes, mine did not.

directly under the seats are 4 bolts on each, you have to get under the car with 1/2in socket and a long extension. there might be rubber plugs blocking the way but just pull them out. mine wern't there in the first place though.
