I am lookin @ buying a 9" and i found one that is 57.25" but I have a stock 67 and according to the FAQ stock is 59.25". Will I be able to fit this new rear in the stock location??? ALSO it says its 43" from center of perch to center of perch.... I need to know b4 tomorrow because it may be gone!

Spring perch center to center for all early mustangs is 43 inches. What I would do is look at your current rear end and see if you would have any interference problems if you were to move your tires in 1" on each side because that is what you would end up with. If you are running stock wheels it might look like the tire and wheel were too far in. If you went with custom wheels you could probably put 9" wide wheels with a custom offset and get a little more reverse that would be marginally noticed.
I don't know what the donar rear end is out of but make sure it is 5 on 4 1/2 and not 5 on 5 (big ford) or you will have to have the axels redrilled to the smaller size. You might check the OD of the axel tubes and see if it is the same diameteras your '67. I suspect it might be bigger (3") and it would require different u-bolts but this is not a major problem.

On my son's 66 there is not an inch to spare on each side, this is because the leaf spring is sooo close to the axle flange. The perches can be cut off and moved, but if the 67 is similar to the 66, there just is not room.

If you have more than an inch between the spring perch, and the axle flange it will probably work, (maybeneed wheel spacers), if you do not have more than an inch clearance here, it ain't gona go.
