firing order mixup
Well last night we got around to starting up the 347 in my 68 mustang. The block is from a 92 stang with a b303 camand HEI dizzy. Anyway, we made the firing order to the 68 non HO 302 order. We gave up on the car after a fire started in the headers. I found out tonight by reading this forum that I need to go with the 351/HO firing order. Boy was this an oversight on my part. Although i did get to hear the car hit a cylinder every once in a while. i can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. After 9 months of working on the car every other weekend and driving 200 miles from San Diego to Riverside and back, not to mention thousands of dollars, we are close.
