Default ell housing

Can anyone tell me if it is 3/8" or 7/16" bolts that are used for bell housing to block, thanks.

UMMM..... I will have to go look to be sure.... but I think 7/16"...

Yep, the bolts that go into the engine block are 7/16".

if you work on old fords you can pretty much get by with 3/8,7/16,1/2,9/16 wrenchs/sockets and not much else...heck over half the fasteners on every thing on the dang car are 1/2"...
