I got a 67 convertible the other day with a power top. The top doesn't fold all the way down. It sticks up about 9 inches. Any ideas why it might do this?

It may be because it is just new. My top goes nearly all the way down into the well. It should stick up some but only a couple inches. Check for any binding in the frame or make sure the well is clean and free of any obstructions. It may just be something simple.
