Default Need a GOOD Mustang/347 Stroker all around BOOK!

Hey all,
I am looking to buy a great reference book that will help me learn the basics of how to care for my new baby, my 68 coupe.
I've got a 347 Stroker and little by little am learning all about it but I need to learn more about how to do the most basic things.
I have a Barry Grant Speed Demon carb I would like to learn how to tune.
I would like to learn how to change the oil in my differential.
I would like to learn how to check my tranny fluid.
I would like to know all the ins and outs and have access to lots of troubleshooting tips...
I would like to learn how to do all these basic things without harassing this forum with every little question!
(Even though you guys are so INCREDIBLY helpful without fail...I guess that is why am here posting, once again!)

Other basic things like the door assemblies and wiring assemblies would be great too.

I know the shop manual is a good start but it looks so complicated to me. Should I just bite the bullet and buy it and learn from that? Or are there other texts out there that would be more user friendly? I just got myself a subscription to Mustang Monthly too. I am hoping that will be a good reference.

I am a very visually oriented guy and color pictures are very helpful but not necessary. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks all.
Cheers!

I just wish there was a Mustang Owners Bible or something like that...

I guess I will just have to consult with my Bartenders Bible for the most challenging projects and chase em down with a splash of Google.

Spend an afternoon at Barnes & Noble reading through some books in their car section.

There IS a Mustang Owners' Bible. It's called the Factory Shop Manual. Best $40 you'll ever spend.
