Default granada spindle and new engine

i bought one of those granda disc break swaps off ebay and im pretty happy with it except the right side spindle is to thin and needs to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone knows of a site that sells new spindles or reconditioned ones. also i need to find a new 302 short block and if anyone has some advice on were to start looking it would be really helpful.

www.discbrakeswap.com sells new spindles and the best part is if you have a 64.5-66 car they offer spindles with the correct steering geometry. I bought just a set of spindles from them a little over a week ago, and couldn't be happier.

my rear bearing isn't seating properly when torqued. it would seem that its to thin around the base of the spindle.

Now that is a major problem!!!! I have not installed my spindles yet, but given your situation I will be checking the bearing fitment tomorrow. My dealings with www.discbrakeswap.com has been very positive so I am sure he will make good on the situation. I would be willing to bet one spindle, yours, was just missed by quality control.

Just as an FYI when I mocked up my spindles today by installing a rotor on both of them all fit as it was designed. I am sure you just happened to get a bad one. Le tme know how it turnes out for you.

Day,
I check spindle diameter on all knuckles. Kurtis (66ckurt) has agreed to to makea measurement and then I will get down to the bottom of the problem. Fact is though that this issue is only one day old and I'm not sure why Kurtis brought this up in the forum. I have been responding to his emails promptly and willingly. I always work with my customers to resolve issues. Fact is, nearly all issues are a result of me sending a wrong part, or thecustomer notunderstanding the installation. For example, andI'm not making fun of a customer, I had one guy write me saying that the rotor was defective since he couldn't get the spindle nut on.Well, after 3 or 4 emails, I realized that he had the dust shield on backwards (dished out instead of in). In any case, I will reserve judgement until I have been provided the measurement.

Dennis, I've read great thing about your front brake swap. Do you offer a rear disc swap as well? If not, any plans to do so or anything you would recommend to go with your front disc swap? thanks
