CAR UPDATE 2: body shop progress **PICS**
Here's the first update: https://mustangforums.com/m_3386808/tm.htm
Since then a lot has been done. As some of you know I had the car sandblasted inside and out (minus engine bay) and what was revealed under the bondo and paint was quite unfortunate. There was horrible (i mean HORRIBLE) half-a$$ed patches done in every corner, minus fenders, of the car to cover it up. What was also revealed was that the floor pans needed to be replaced, trunk area patched/replaced (some), rust spot above door hinge, rust in rear window channels, new door skin, and every body panel needs to be worked on and massaged to some extent. I would say the only panel that seemed almost perfect was the trunk lid.
After the sandblasting it went to the body shop which is a GREAT shop, one of their cars won one of the twelve winners at hot august nights. Top notch quality. The progress has been slow, and now the guy that is actually working on the car is saying 2-3 more months [:@]. Kinda rediculous, but their quality of work will be worth it. They've been really busy which is I guess a good sign.
So now the floor pans are in, all the patches are in (for the corners), door hinge rust repair done, door skin, and a lot of other beginnings of body work. I'm still anxious to see how the trunk and remaining patches come out.
Anyway I'll let the pics do the talking from here. Please comment back and show me some input

It sure takes guts to sandblast a mustang. Once it's done, you're at the point of no return.

Hang in there David, it'll all be worth it when it comes back looking like glass.
