Anyone been to Vic Hubbard BBQ in Hayward before?
Thinking about checking it out on Thursday night... tomorrow night. 6pm-Midnight, no sales tax.
Wondering if its worth my time? Fun? Anyone? Stupid question, I know. But hey, I am lucky enough not to have any serious questions to ask tonight!

That looks like a good time. I used to work in Hayward, then down in Fremont in the big substation on Auto-mall Parkway.
If the food at Vick Hubbard isn't too great, you can just head East into the ghetto on A street about a mile East of VH, and go eat at Everett and Jones BBQ. Ordering through the bulletproof glass, and waiting for meal in the ghetto is quite an experience. They make their own beef links that are out of this world, I would suggest the mild sauce, only because their medium and hot tastes like it has too much mustard powder in it. They serve all of the four basic food groups, Links, Ribs, Chicken and Brisket. (everything is at least OK, but the links are always AWESOME!)
Also for you guys stuck in the Bay Area. If you like pork ribs... YOU MUST eat at the Red Smoke Grill at 4501 Hopyard Rd., Pleasanton, CA, (925) 734-0307. This guy started up shop in a small shopping complex in Pleasanton, the food is simple, and awesome.
Red Smoke Grill. Best pork ribs in the Bay Area... PERIOD
