Default Brake lines: OE or Stainless Steel

Hey everyone.

I am putting brake lines in my 66 coupe and I need purchase some brake lines. This is my first time working with brake line setups so I have began my research and I have found companies offering both OE steel and stainless steel brake lines. What are the advantages/disadvantages of either of the two? I am running a Mustang II front suspenstion with 11in disks, and I am running drums in the rear. Additionally, are there any upgrades (brake related) that I should/might need to look into while I am tackling this section of my rebuilt? Thanks...

Just out of curiosity, whats the price difference between the two? If it wasn't much, I'd get the stainless ones and never have to worry about it again, but even standard steel ones could last a LONG time.

he stainless is harder and can be prone to leaking if the old parts are galled internally etc pro it looks nice longer
steel softer more ductile less prone to leaking doesnt look nice as long

Stainless steel is more difficult to double flare, if you are bending them and flaring them yourself. You'd need a very high quality flare tool to work with them.

as far as upgrades.... power brakes would be very good.... disc brakes take more force to move the piston and the advantage from power would do you good
