Sealant for Fastback Louvers??
First off, I know they are not called louvers, but the name is slipping my mind.
What type of sealant has anyone used to ensure you do not have leaks? Thanks for your help on this.

RE: Sealant for Fastback Louvers??
im assuming its a 65 going by the poster name but id think u want to run a thin bead of bedding and glazing compound behind then they arent supposed to leak into the car because of the drain setup

true, but since the drain setup is to go ibto the metal channels in the vent setup, it has a natural tendency to rust. I replaced the hoses and made sure the path was clear. I just thought it would be a good idea to seal it. One person recommended urethane (how they do winshields now)

yeah if u never want to remove them again the bedding and glazing is whats used to seal the rubber weatherstrips its not a glue like the urethane and its stays soft and pliable so it can be removed if need be
