Default Stupid question - 68 Electrical issue - Non working Fuel gauge

My gas gauge is not working. 68 Coupe. The electrical has been a real bearcat (to paraphrase my father) and I have been getting back in there almost every day for about a week now. I got my aftermarket tach working, the bezel lights, the aftermarket oil press & water temp gauges working fine... Speedometer working, LS Turn signal indicator working.

Right side turn signal indicator not working but that is not really high on my priority list.
What is driving me crazy is that my fuel gauge is not working. I cant figure out what wire it is! I have a couple wiring diagrams ("1968 Mustang Exterior Lights and Turn Signals" & "1968 Mustang Interior Lights And Cigar Lighter")
But I cant figure out how to trace the fuel gauge wire...

Anyone been here before? Thanks all!

Check the female plug on the sending unit (on the tank). Often these corrode and loosen up. Clean, tighten (squeeze together a little) and re-connect. See if that helps.

With the key on test for voltage at the plug on the sending unit. If you have voltage there the sending unit is bad or like evil said it's a bad connection.
