Default Aftermarket CD player installation

I finally broke down and decided to get a good sounding system into my old Mach. It's gonna be all Kenwood- two excelon 6'9's, one excelon 10" sub, and 2 amps (200 and 800w), to start. I'll be custom installing everything, except the new CD player. The car has the stock mount for the original radio, in the dash. Obviously, some work is going to be needed to get an aftermarket Kenwood head in there. Im just wondering if anyone makes a head install kit (where to get one?) or if I'm looking at more than just slapping the new head and an install kit in. Thx...

You can buy a black sacrificial radio bezel and hack it up as needed. That way you don't mess up your stock woodgrain one. If you like how it came out, mod your good one for the final install.

I went to www.mustangsunlimited.com and got a CD player with Bezel for my '69. Works Great! I did purchase a different MP3 capable CD player for the actual instalation.

What does everybody suggest we do? I'm in a similar situation in my '66 HT, I don't want to carve into the dash.

For 67 and up, I recommend buying a radio bezel and hacking it as needed to make the radio fit. Tokk me about 30 minutes using a dremel. For pre 67 I recommend mounting the radio in the glove box.
