Default AFR - Wow!!

Well after much thought I finally decided on heads and bit the bullit. I purchased AFR 185 61cc heads and they just arrived and I just had to share with someone. I must say they are much better looking than I had thought, and the valves are huge compared to stock 302 heads anyway. They will be going on a 347 roller motor which the 61cc chambers will make the compression 10:5 to 1. The cam is a ford motorsports Z303 cam which will be backed by a T-5 for as long as it will hold together. The combination will go into my 68 coupe. Below are some pics.

afr's are sweet. I have the 165's on my 94 cobra. superdavid, keep our yes open on the trading forums. You can normally pick up a fairly new set for around $1000

someone just said the patriots were are actually a AFR molding that patriot bought from AFR. probably slightly outdated, but flow numbers are right there with the AFR's and the price is far below.

that = winner in my book

new patriots assembled are less than 900.00 a pair and can be gotten from one of a couple ebay sellers for like 925-950 with shipping
