Default Possessed Horn 66/289

Need advice for repairing a possessed horn problem - recently restored66/289 automatic - when wheel is turned upon thestart of aride, the horn willchatter and emitshort burstsof sound - if Ijiggle the medallion the chattering will stop - if the wheel is turned again, it may start again - once the car has ridden for @10 minutes it will be okay - do I need to completly disassemble the steering wheel assembly to fix this? - rather embarrassing to drive like this.

Sounds like you have a loose or rusted horn connection. You probably need to take it apart and clean it up and tighten it.

take the wheel off and check all the connections in there, could be just some worn out parts

Just disconect the horns for now under the hood.. My mom had the same problem in her buick when I was a kid ,, and i remember my stepdad just disconected it.. It was pretty funny though, every time we turned it would honk the horn..
