Thinking

RE: Thinking
With all the talk going on I think I've at least decided to go w/ a coupe. There will most likely always be a covert. & who knows I might be able to put a little $ into it & sell it for enough to get a convert. Leastways in the meantime I'll get to have a classic. Also I might be able to have a good enough paying job to get the convert. + keep the coupe.

RE: Thinking
I am also 20. Went through the same problems, except I have had my 66 coupe for 7 years. I have and 03 2500 HD, 87 Mazda B2000, and an 03 Harley. Yes they are all mine and it comes out of my pocket (decent paying job). The 2500 will be paid off in about 3 months. So I will sell it in order to build the Mustang.
Why did I say all of that? It is to keep you in perspective that at our age, you want all of these toys, but realisticly we cant have them all. I can only drive oneof themat a time.
brnc_bstr87 it is a good thing that you have another car that you can count on, because these classics are never going to be reliable as a newer vehicle. If a classic mustang is what you really want, then I say definitely buy one. I see that you have your bearings straight, so you will be alright. But keep in mind that you have a lot of hard work ahead of you to get it running AND looking good.
Best of luck to you!!!
