What would be the best 4bbl carb for a 351w?

Imagine you had a 2bbl 351w and wanted to place a 4bbl carb on it. You are looking for a combo that will allow it to be a civilized daily driver yet a fun fast weekend car. It also has an Auto tranny at the moment.

What would you say is the ideal CFM? Would you go Holley? Edel? or...

Double pumper?

Any suggestions?

600 CFM (1.12 size) Autolite 4100 rebuilt by Pony Carbs.

i use the 4300 on my cleveland...lol but i promise i didnt give that much for it...i think i might have 80.00 in mine...lol

Holley mechanical double pumper, 650 minimum altho i'd get a 750. definately don't get an edelbrock carb, their heads and intakes are awesome but their carbs suck.

650cfm is good and Vacuum Secondarycarbsare better for auto trannys!! and go with the holley! it's a better carb

Stock engine? Modified? How much? RPM range? Trans type? Cruising RPM? There are many variables to deciding on a carb. Never run vacuum secondaries on an engine that has a high cruise rpm.Never put a 1,200cfm Dominator on a stock anything.
