Default Buffing accident....

So I decided to buff my hood the other day, and needless to say, I learned that I had a single stage paint job. I was told that it had clear on it by a local paintshop. So anyway, I am missing paint on my hhood now. The question is....Do I leave it, or do I flat black it? Here is a pic of the car with red hood.

I would like to see what the hood looks like where you messed it up, but single stage and two stage paint can be buffed, I actually wet sanded and buffed a single stage last week. Either you just messed up and burnt through, (which we all have done)or the car just doesn't have enough paint on it to be able to safely buff.

If you went thru the paint, then I like the Black idea. Otherwise, you can buff again. Be careful on what compound you use.

I have buffed a few cars, and have not burned through the paint yet. My paint was really faded, ask cprstreetmachines.

I pretty much have a few spots on the hood where there is NO paint.
