Give me the #s I can decoad them, at least the important info like size ratio and weather or not it is an open diff

Well I got under there real quick today and figured out I have 2.80 gearing and an open diff

I was hoping the PO did some rear end work

Ignorance is bliss. I have no idea what my diff is or whether or not I have posi. I would rather just believe the previous owner did something to it. It's the best feeling in the world... ignorance.

Do a burn out see if you leave one mark or two also old never changed gear oil can act like a lsd my old ford truck was like that when i got it.

Ok, not my thread, but I have a number off my rear end

Now, I was told when I bought the car that it had "the big rear end", but it appears not.
Can someone cross check my findings?
