RE: Paint ideas
A) ditch the side exhaust. It's tacky and obnoxious. Exhaust should come from the rear of the car, not the sides.
2) Gloss black. Flat/semi-gloss is for rat-rods, never really thought it looked good on anything else (aside from matte black hoods).

The black may look ok but its comes down to a personal choice.Personally I wouldn't but thats me and i think would be the common thought. As for the side exhaust, unless your going with the E-kit side exhaust body kit I'd say go rear as it'll look better imo.
Regarding the 'clicking a button' statement.. I remember a few years ago when the new body style was being worked on someone had a small app (java?) that had all the car colors and stripe options. You simply clicked the body color and stripe color to see what it looked like. Was a great app and i wish one was done for the classics. Unfortunately I'm not a programmer.
