Default RE: Odometer roll-back question

I did set my Mustang odometer to 00000 and I took 15 minutes to do when sppedo is out. Just remove holder from other end of odometer shaft and then take odometer carefully out. Now you can roll it with you drill and when you have 00000 at right place put odometer back. Just put axle in to the hole and snap holder to the other end. Simple and easy.

Why I did it to my car? Basicly everything is new but roof, windows, hood and front fenders and odometer reading was unkonwn. That is the reason. If I sell it I won´t sell it original low milage car. My car is restored/redone and many factory original thing are long gone.

I've never had a car that the odometer would go backward. Just ask Cameron in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" However I now have a truck odometer that goes forward when the truck is moving backward (computerized digital).
