Default installing a radio

one of my buddies went to wallmart for his radio case and somehowjustput a few screws through the housing and theradio bezel and slid his radio in. right now my radio is just sitting in the dash and isnt secured and moves around. does anybodyknow whathousing to buy. when you look at wall mart it says for like chevy 80+ year models, ford 80+ ext. but i wouldnt think it matters? i cutt my original dash bezel so now all i have to do is go buy that piece andtap some hows to mount it to the bezel.

theres some company that sells a wire basket radio holder thing but its like 100$. theres got to be a cheaper route. any ideas?

Default RE: installing a radio

For a DIN fit radio a basket should have came with the radio. Get a couple of pieces of the thin metal with the holes punched in it (not sure what it is called) and attach that to your dash and basket.
