Hey all. I have a 1965 Mustang Coupe that the quarters need to go, completely. I am purchasing full quarters to replace.

Is there anyone near the DFW area that wouldn't mind coming over and helping me cut the old quarters out and installing the new? I live in North Dallas would appreciate all the help I can get! Let me know how much you charge and we can move forward. I don't want to pay shop fees and I am too scared to do this myself.

Hoping someone with the experience could use some Christmas cash! My car sure needs new quarters and I could sure learn a thing or two from your experience.

dude if you had done this a week ago i would be able to help u, i was visiting my grandparents in southern dallas, i would have hauled @$$ to get away from my uncle in a new york SECOND!!!!

Something else that may help you. In the FAQ in the section at the top of this forum there is a link to an online article - with detailed photos - from Mustang Monthly on how to replace quarter panels on a 66, which should not be much different. Just open the FAQ and do a search (Edit/Find on this page) for the word quarter. Click on each photo to get a bigger photo along with a detailed explanation of what they are doing at that step. I only recently discovered the wealth of information in the FAQ and at Mustang Monthly and they are both great! Good luck with your quarters. I'm going the patch route on my quarters using the preformed lower quarter patches and wheel flare patches from National Parts Depot.
