RE: boxed in truck
I was thinking of doing this to my mustang I think. My friend bought me an 8" sub and box for my bday and I'll have a small amp too (me thinks). I was just going to take like two sections of plywood or something and cover it in carpet and mount the sub. I guess this is a "boxed" truck and I never knew no body on here liked it! lol. I always thought it was an ok look, and it will kinda protect gas spewing into the interior if I got into a rear ender.
But of course I won't get one of those ugly *** amps and watnot, the sub is small and I'm hoping to mount the amp behind it so that it is not visible.
edit: oh so boxying is when they do the verticle walls too? Ok well i'm not doing that... just the floor. we shall see.

Don't listen to these guys, if you want to box your trunk, go ahead. I personally plan to put a bottom in my '66, can't imagine why Ford left the trunk floor so uneven.
Unless it's a pure resto, the factory trunk treatment looks like crap.

RE: boxed in truck
when i get some spare time (maybe next winter) i plan on doing it. If done proper it looks good and u can hide you spare tire/tools and stuff wont be sliding all over the place. That oem partern stuff looks like a picnic in your trunk (ford didn't do everything right with this car :P).
